The Cranberries set to reform for US tour

Irish rockers the Dangleberries, sorry The Cranberries are set to reform for a US tour later this year. It will be the first time that the band have played together in almost seven years.

The North American tour will feature the Limerick band's original lineup of Dolores O'Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler. European fans of the band that stole Suede's limelight stateside will be happy to know that they are planning a European tour in 2010.

Guitarist Noel Hogan spoke about the reunion: "Over the last few years, each member of the band has had time to work on different projects and learn so much from their experience. Now the time is right for The Cranberries to bring all of this together and move forward."

Translation: with the Irish economy going down the swanny the time has come to put creative differences aside and cash in the chips.
