The Specials mock former bandmate Dammers

The Specials singer Terry Hall slagged off former bandmate Jerry Dammers during the ska legends final show of their 30th anniversary tour last night at the Hammersnith Apollo.

Dammers, who founded the band and penned the majority of their songs, declined the offer to take part in the reunion tour following a number of disagreements with his former bandmates. 'It's a shame Jerry can't be here. But you can see him at in panto as Scrooge at Bridlington Spa,' Hall told the capacity crowd.

Last night's show was the Coventry legend's third at the Apollo in the space of a week and the set was crammed full of hits from their back catalogue including 'A Message To You Rudy', 'Gangsters', 'Rat Race' and their two UK Number One singles - 'Too Much Too Young' and 'Ghost Town'.
