This joke isn't funny anymore

Just when you thought it was safe to come out from behind the sofa after watching Jedward’s murdering of ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)’on The X-Factor, it appears there are a number of tone-deaf plebs who actually liked it. To be precise 24,000 tone-deaf plebs; the number of copies the doppelganger double act have shifted of their debut novelty single so far.

According to the official midweek charts, the current UK number 1, Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’ is still winning the biggest chart battle to be number 1 since the last X-Factor related chart battle between Rage Against The Machine and Joe McElderry - but only by 24 measly units. And with Jedward's single not being physically released until Feb 15th it's looking likely the Brothers Grimm could triumph.

Anyone want to start a campaign to stop them getting to number 1? As the old saying goes 'you can never own too many copies of 'Killing In The Name'.
