U2 reschedule tour after Bono recovers from back injury

U2 have announced details of their rescheduled US tour after frontman Bono recovered from a back injury sustained in rehearsals which forced the band to pull out of Glastonbury this summer.

The Irish band are set to fulfil all of the dates on their European tour which starts in August and will undertake a mammoth US tour next May. Tickets from the original dates are valid for the rescheduled shows.

U2 will play the following US dates in 2011: Denver Invesco Field (May 21); Rice Eccles Stadium (24); Edmonton Commonwealth Stadium (June 1); Seattle Qwest Field (4); Oakland McAfee Coliseum (7); Anaheim Angels Stadium (17); Anaheim Angels Stadium (18); East Lansing Spartan Stadium (26); Miami Sun Life Stadium (previously Dolphin Stadium) (29); Chicago Soldier Field (July 5); Montreal Hippodrome (8, 9); Toronto Rogers Centre (11); Philadelphia Lincoln Financial Field (14); East Rutherford New Meadowlands Stadium (20); Minneapolis TCF Bank Stadium (23).
