Its the major news everyone was talking around the water cooler this morning, no not who the hell is going to be the British Prime Minister but that X-Factor reject scored a number one album in the UK charts last night at her first attempt.

Already smugger than an MP with a pad of blank receipts thanks to her securing a number one single last week with her debut tune ‘Once’, she’s managed to nudge Plan B’s 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks' much-hyped album into the second spot. Otherwise in the album chart was made up of big hitting long players such as Lady Gaga’s ‘The Fame’, Florence & The Machine’s ‘Lungs’ and Black Eyed Peas’ ‘The End’...it’s like its early 2009 all over again.
