UK Charts

Put your hand up if you bought Keane’s new album ‘Nigh Train’? Well, in that case why the hell is it sitting ugly at the the top of the UK albums charts this morning? Fair play, the monotonous whinings of posho frontboy Tom Chaplin may not have grated on some until after the second album but this is album number four. If you like them so much just play the first one again! Anyway, their new album debuted at No. 1 last night, so, er, well done boys, it's well deserved.

In other album news, the much hyped 5th studio long player from The National went straight in at No.5. It wasn’t such glorious news for Jack White’s side project The Dead Weather whose 2nd album only managed to secure the lowly 32 position, oh dear.

RE: The Singles – nothing appears to have changed, with Roll Deep’s ‘Good Times’ retaining all the glory at the top spot. Hey, why read this inane nonsense, when you can just have a look at the top 10s yourself? Geez...
