UK Charts

It's hard to believe that while every media outlet in the UK goes doo-lally over The World Cup, life outside of football still carries on. Last night, Radio 1 rattled through the UK's top selling albums and single of the previous 7 days, and it was a double top for our cousins in the good ole U.S. of A.

It’s surprising that Eminem is now on his 6th album with ‘Recovery’ but it’s perhaps even harder to believe that he’s now scored a number one with all of them. Oasis’ singles collection ‘Time Flies ’1994-2009’ were in second spot and Black Eyed Peas ‘The End’ STILL high in the charts at No.3.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry and her new single ‘California Girls’ in the UKs No.1. single, the official World Cup song ‘Wavin’ Flag’ by K’Nanaan at No.2 and Dizzee Rascal’s & James Corden’s England chant ‘Shout’ at No.3. We’re guessing this is the last we’ll see this in the top 400.
