UK Charts

More sisters doing it for themselves in the world of pop: Jessie J has managed to hold onto top spot in the singles charts with her pop smash ‘Price Tag’. The Essex girl has managed an all-too-rare feat in being number one for a second consecutive week; we’re sure you’ve all heard your dad going on about how singles used to climb the charts and how it was all much better that way, so you get the idea.

Meanwhile Lady GaGa managed to come in at number three despite only releasing her single on Friday, and Adele held on to pole position in the albums chart with '21', thankfully keeping the dreadfully dull Bruno Mars from top spot. Hooray for Brit girls and their magnificent poppy ways!
