UK Charts

What else is there to say about Adele that hasn’t been said already? We’re pushing three months since ‘21’ first plopped itself at the top of the charts, and frankly we’re kind of bored of telling you all that it’s put down roots at number one that are going to be very hard to shift. She’s now been there for 11 weeks, meaning that the album’s now spent more consecutive weeks at number one than any other by a solo artist in chart history: she must be really happy that she performed at the Brits.

Elsewhere Jennifer Lopez has also held on her position at the top in the singles chart, with her collaboration with Pitbull, ‘On The Floor’ holding firm. However, given that the chart appears to rammed with complete mediocrity at the moment, it can’t be too hard for her. Maybe when Adele released her next single we’ll see how she gets on.
