UK Charts

Lady GaGa has stormed to the top of the UK album charts, scoring the biggest first week sales of the year to kick Adele off her perch. The GaGa One sold over 215,000 copies of ‘Born This Way’, which was apparently more than the rest of the top ten combined. Not only that, but her 2009 debut album ‘The Fame’ re-entered the top ten at number seven. Adele’s two efforts slipped down to numbers two and three, while grizzled old dance veterans The Prodigy flew straight in at number five with 'World's On Fire Live'.

The singles chart remains as grim as it has ever been in recent times, with dopey rapper Pitbull holding onto top spot and the irritating LMFAO still hanging around with their infernal ‘Party Rock Anthem’. Make it stop.
