Village People sued by Village Policeman

The policeman in The Village People is taking the law into his own hands, and suing his old band mates for using his voice and face to promote their current tour without his permission.

Victor Willis, who founded the disco hit-makers and is no longer in the band, has filed a legal writ said to be worth $1million (£675,000) as well as suing several venues where the current incarnation have played, reports BBC News.
