Welcome back to the Fun House

Having made his name fronting dirty grunge band The Stooges, collaborating with David Bowie and Green Day amongst others, and inventing the stage-dive, Iggy Pop is without doubt one of the greatest frontmen of all time. At the rump old age of 62 he still looks as fit as ever (well almost).

The Stooges, who reformed in 2003, are going back into the studio to record songs they wrote together back in the early 70s.

"James Williamson is really hot to trot and there's a lot of old stuff that The Stooges failed to record,” Iggy told Bang Showbiz. “We wrote a load of songs that we only ever played live, so I'm looking forward to doing some studio recordings."

A monster worldwide tour is expected in 2010.
