We’re so proud!

The clinic that helped Elton John and partner David Furnish become parents has expressed its joy at its role in the couple’s ‘beautiful’ surrogacy journey.

The couple announced the birth of Zachary on Christmas Day via a surrogate mother. The news comes a year after their attempts to adopt a child from the Ukraine were turned down.

A spokesperson for The Center for Surrogate Parenting (CSP) in California confirmed that the couple used their clinic's services and praised them for taking the bold step of using a surrogate.

Joanne Bubrick tells the New York Post: ‘I can confirm that Elton John and David Furnish worked with the center... and it was a lovely, beautiful surrogacy journey for all parties involved.’

A message on the clinic's website reads: ‘CSP is proud to have helped David Furnish and Elton John become the proud parents of a baby boy on Christmas Day.’
