Who gives a (Arctic) Monkeys?

Little more than a dickie bird has been heard from Camp Arctic Monkeys since the group’s 2009 LP, Humbug. Not that the group has been resting on its laurels – it reportedly plans to release album number four before the end of the year.

According to NME, more Monkey madness could be gracing our MP3 players by late spring.

With James Ford on production duties, the group are thought to have got cracking with the recording in London late last year. As with any good high profile rock and roll outfit, the group has now moved to LA to continue work on the project.

However, the Arctic’s frontman Alex Turner keeps his fingers in other pies. Last year, plans were confirmed by pal and musical collaborator Miles Kane to record a second Last Shadow Puppets album, the singer’s successful side project.
