X-Factor’s Double Top

Simon Cowell is once again grinning from ear to ear: he scored a No.1 in the singles chart and a No.1 in the albums' chart yesterday.

The X Factor Finalists' cover of Michael Jackson’s ‘You Are Not Alone’ in aid of Great Ormond Street hospital went straight to the top of the singles chart, and Leona Lewis’ album ‘Echo’ snatched the No.1 spot from JLS in the albums chart.

Jason Derulo ‘Watcha Say’ at No.3 in the singles chart is the only song and artist not to be associated with this year's X-Factor: the remaining 9 entries at the top of both the single and album charts have all performed on this series. Maybe time for a name change?
