Yule better believe it

Lady Gaga has hinted at plans to release a Christmas album this year.

How the puroprted album of jazz covers will contend with the pop singer’s raunchy, controversial image we don’t know, but with new album Born This Way looking set to sell a quarter of a million copies in its first week, we think it likely that it’ll be a hit.

In an interview with that noted journalist Stephen Fry for this Saturday’s Financial Times (!!), the singer reveals her plans for the release: ‘I thought it would be really sweet to do a Christmas release of Gaga and the jazz standards. I really want to do it. I've spoken to my manager.’

We do love how she refers to herself in the third person (sigh).

Gaga’s recently taken to playing live Nat King Cole’s Orange Coloured Sky, so it looks likely that this wil be one of the tracks.

Meanwhile, Born This Way is selling like hot cakes and looks set to finally oust Adele from the album top spot this Sunday.
